TaskBuster 1.0 is an app for keeping your mobile device clean. By stopping unused tasks, you save processing power, and thus battery life for your device.

A "Task" is any software running on your device, whether it is an app, or background service.

The problem with devices is that many times when you use a "back" button or go to the home screen, these tasks will continue running in the background, taking up processing power and thus draining your battery faster.

Tasks that take up processing power when they are not needed are a double-edged sword...they eat up your battery faster and also leave less power for your apps that you wish to run such as your camera, internet, games, etc.

The only way to stop these background tasks is to shutdown your device or close them manually with an app like this one.

Every action you need is only 1 click away...no hunting thru a maze of menus. Effort was made to only include the features in this app that most users will need, and nothing more than that. Additional features that are used less often are located at the menu level.

Here is how it works:

1. The rows each indicate an app running on your phone. Enable the checkbox for tasks which you don't currently need running.

2. The "KILL Selected Tasks" button shuts down any tasks which you have selected via checkbox.

3. The "Refresh" button updates the screen with whatever tasks are running at the moment. No need to worry about TaskBuster taking up extra processing power in the background, what you see is what you get.

 4. The "Memory" gauge displays available system memory, in MegaBytes (MB). This value will increase with less tasks running.

 5. The "Battery" gauge displays the percentage of remaining battery life your device has.
